The technological services company Lleida.net (BME:LLN) (EPA:ALLLN) (OTCQX:LLEIF) has signed individual agreements with the national postal operators of Senegal and Sierra Leone, and has renewed its agreement with Malawi Post, the national postal operator for Malawi, under the framework agreement with the Pan African Postal Union which allows 55 national postal operators within the African continent to offer digital postal services with certified communications technology to Lleida.net.
Lleida.net has signed the agreements through its subsidiary Lleidanet SaaS Middle East and Africa DMCC and the partner software company eGate, based in North Africa.
Established in 1980, the Pan African Postal Union, under the umbrella of the African Union, was created 40 years ago to coordinate the 55 national postal operators in Africa and to encourage innovations in the postal services offered in the continent.
The signing of these two national postal operators and the renewal with a third has increased the number of Lleida.net's postal operator clients to 14 across three continents. The six operators currently generate 70% of all certified email traffic and 25% of all SaaS services, therefore this transition from six to fourteen will mean that these figures are expected to triple within three years.
